Our History

Since opening in 1993, Oklahoma Primary Care Association's (OKPCA) efforts to strengthen access to affordable community-based health care have resulted in unprecedented community health center (CHC) growth.  To date, CHC presence has increased by almost 600% in Oklahoma with continued growth expected.  Tens of thousands of Oklahomans now have access to affordable, high quality, comprehensive health care.  With help from state partners, OKPCA has connected Oklahoma communities with approximately 19 million in increased annual funding since 2001.

Our Funding

OKPCA is Oklahoma's federally designated trade association for community health centers and other community-based health care providers.  Primary funding is from the Health Resources Services Administration's (HRSA) Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC), a program of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).  Oklahoma is in the Southwest Branch of the Central Mid-Atlantic Division.
