Dee Porter - CEO
Dee Porter, a former assistant commissioner and chief operating officer for the Texas Department of State Health Services, joined Oklahoma Primary Care Association as CEO in May 2015.
Porter, a native of Oklahoma City, has held numerous executive positions in public health, community health care and in government in Oklahoma and Texas. She has more than 25 years in the non-profit, public and private sectors.
Prior to assuming her position, she was Chief People Officer and Deputy Director for the Texas Department of Transportation, and was previously the Chief Operating Officer of the Texas Department of State Health Services. From 2003-2007, she served as General Administrator/Director of Consumer Services for the Oklahoma Corporation Commission and previously as Chief Deputy Director at the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services.
Porter received undergraduate degrees in psychology from the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma City Community College and attended the Meinders School of Business at Oklahoma City University.
