Press Release: OKPCA Annual Conference
October 10, 2017 - Oklahoma Primary Care Association (OKPCA) is hosting its 2017 Annual Conference in Tulsa on October 11-12. OKPCA brings together Community Health Centers, Urban Indian Clinics, safety-net providers, and industry experts annually to learn and share best practices in community health.
This year's theme, "Today's Vision, Tomorrow's Reality" spotlights the role of health centers in improving and transforming care delivery and health outcomes across Oklahoma. Community health centers served 200,000 rural and urban medically underserved Oklahomans last year by providing cost-saving, high-quality, integrated primary care services. By addressing the complex web of social and health issues that impede access to care, health centers play a crucial role in bettering the health of underserved Oklahomans.
OKPCA's conference will feature sessions on on health center program requirements, the 340B program, sliding fee scales, care coordination, financial policies, payment reform, Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) deeming, and more!
OKPCA will also recognize the service and achievements of health centers' staff and board members with OKPCA's Awards of Excellence. Health center projects that demonstrate year-round dedication to improving their communities will be recognized with OKPCA's Social Responsibility Awards.
