Cassidy Heit, MPA - Public Policy & Communications Specialist

Cassidy is responsible for contributing to public policy pieces related to community health centers, analyzing regulatory affairs, communicating with the media and general public, and lobbying to broaden primary care access in Oklahoma.

Before joining OKPCA in October 2015, Cassidy served as a Graduate Research Fellow for the Oklahoma Policy Institute where she contributed policy pieces for the nonprofit think tank. She also served as a two-term AmeriCorps member and senior program coordinator for a nonprofit in Norman, OK.

Cassidy graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Economics and minors in History and Latin American Studies. She also completed a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Public Policy. She has been recognized as a 2018 NextGen Under 30 Awardee and as a Distinguished Master of Advocacy by the National Association of Community Health Centers.
