Cassidy Heit, MPA - Director of Communications
Cassidy is responsible for OKPCA's public and media relations. She is responsible for contributing to public policy pieces related to community health centers, publishing our newsletter and other print and social media, analyzing regulatory affairs, and lobbying to broaden primary care access in Oklahoma.
Before joining OKPCA in October 2015, Cassidy served as a Graduate Research Fellow for the Oklahoma Policy Institute where she contributed policy pieces for the nonprofit think tank. She also served as a two-term AmeriCorps member and senior program coordinator for a nonprofit in Norman, OK.
Cassidy graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Economics and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Public Policy. She has a Certificate in Executive Healthcare Leadership from Cornell and has been recognized as a 2018 NextGen Under 30 Awardee and as a Distinguished Master of Advocacy by the National Association of Community Health Centers.
