Our Trainings

Our goal is to ensure that our state’s Federally Qualified Health Centers and their providers are properly equipped to provide quality care to their patients. That is why we provide virtual, in-person, and hybrid trainings to our member health centers. These trainings cover various topics, including becoming FQHC compliant and how to implement team-based practices to serve local communities better. Members of the Oklahoma Behavioral Health Association can also access
OKPCA trainings at member rates.

Virtual and In-Person Trainings for CHCs

The Oklahoma Primary Care Association hosts an Annual Conference, Clinical Conference, and UDS trainings for professionals at our member CHCs each year.

In addition to these annual events, our regular virtual, in-person, and hybrid trainings cover a variety of topics that help Community Health Centers provide the best care possible for patients across Oklahoma. These trainings include:

Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) accreditation
Electronic health record (EHR) optimization
Behavioral health integration
Emergency preparedness and response
Clinical improvement in HIV, heart health, and diabetes

OKPCA Corporate Hotel Rates

Many of our in-person trainings take place in the Oklahoma City Metro, at the OKPCA offices. If you are traveling from another area of the state, our organization has corporate rates available at two nearby hotels for your comfort and convenience. Embassy Suites Oklahoma City Downtown/Medical Center

OKPCA has a corporate rate of $129 plus tax per night at the Embassy Suites Oklahoma City Downtown/Medical Center. This rate includes self-parking, wireless internet access, a hot breakfast cooked-to-order, and a nightly Manager’s Reception with complimentary appetizers and beverages.

The Embassy Suites OKC Medical Center is located at 741 North Phillips Avenue, south of the OKPCA offices and the Capitol building. The hotel is close to Bricktown and downtown and provides a complimentary shuttle for local area travel.

Holiday Inn & Suites Oklahoma City North

OKPCA has a corporate rate of $65 plus tax per night at the Holiday Inn & Suites Oklahoma City North location. The full-service hotel offers an on-site restaurant and lounge, complimentary Wi-Fi and high-speed internet access, a 24-hour fitness center, a spa, and an indoor pool. The amenities in all rooms include a flat-panel TV, microwave, and refrigerator.

The Holiday Inn & Suites Oklahoma City North is located just south of the OKPCA offices, off of I-235 (Broadway Extension) and near I-44, I-40, and I-35. This convenient location puts you within minutes of everything OKC has to offer.
