Fiona Callender-McIntosh, MS, RHIA, CPHQ, CAHIMS, PCMH CCE – Health IT Project Manager

Fiona is OKPCA’s Health IT Project Manager and assists on PCMH and ACO oriented tasks. She has over 7 years of experience in administrative coordination and data management. Her educational background is in Public Health, Health Information Management, and Health Administration. She has over two years’ experience working in an FQHC setting as a care coordinator, case manager, database manager, and credentialing specialist. She also has several years’ experience working as a Program Support Assistant at the Department of Veterans Affairs for their Hospital at Home program. Fiona is proficient in and excels at time management and all things data-oriented and administrative. She was responsible for the creation and maintenance of the databases used by the Community Health Centers of Oklahoma’s SBIRT Behavioral Health department and their Credentialing Department.

Fiona holds an Associate of Science degree in Public Health and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Health Information Management and Healthcare Administration, and a Masters in Health Information Management from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Health Information Management is the practice of acquiring, analyzing, and protecting digital and traditional medical information vital to providing quality patient care, and her degrees heped prepare her to apply leadership, critical thinking, communication and problem solving skills to the implementation and management of health information systems in healthcare environments. She is fully certified as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and a Patient Centered Medical Home Certified Content Expert. She is also credentialed as a Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMS).
